Who knows my fate?

I am a poor coincoin

Rotating from one pocket to another

If it is a good or a bad deal

I cannot afford to bother

Beggars cherish me in their bowls

I am the thirst of many poor souls

Gone are the days

When happiness mattered

Today without me

All dreams seem shattered

Every country designs me

In her own hold

Some in silver

While others in gold

I am the one

About whom economists chat

When inflation is higher

Or growth seems flat

Who knows my destiny

Who knows my fate

I am the poor fellow

Whom many await

I am a symbol of wealth

Then why do I cry about my poor health

A long story, it is

A journey too fade

Since the time I have been

Since coins have been made

My excess boosts the ego

My deficiency causes vertigo

Where do I go

Whom do I have to blame on?

I feel and I believe

That the show must go on

May God bless us

May God bless all

May the rich and the poor

शीशे के टुकड़े से निहारते हो खुद को
कभी मन के आईने में झांक के तो देखो
दौड़ते भागते आयेंगी खुशियाँ
कभी दूसरों के लिये खुद को लुटा के तो देखो
संवेदना का फूल हो खिलता जिस हृदय में
उसको सुकून कैसे न मिलेगा

Aei duniya ko kathor kahne walon

तो कुछ नहीं है
सब कुछ फीका है
सारे दिन फीके हैं
सारी रातें फीकी हैं
सारी बातें फीकी हैं
बहुत याद आती है
दिल को सताती है
काश तुम मेरे पास आ सकती

खुला आकाश देख मन कहता है
मुझे भी पंख दो हवा में उड़ने दो
चाहे कठिन हो कितनी भी डगर
हम मंज़िल से मुँह न मोड़ेंगे

Gone are the days which we had spent together

But it is the choice of words given to emotions to nicely move ahead

I know I suffer from word deficiency syndrome

But remember this blog is like my home sweet home

This poem was supposed to be written in memory of someone close

But I think it has become silly for the tone I chose

I just discovered that writing poems can magically ease your heart

So what are you waiting for give it a stupid start

Now I am winding up as the day has just begun

And for good health I have to run, run and run!

I am here again with some thoughts in my mind to say
My lines may not rhyme but may rhyme too in some way
The sun is shining bright today in the sky so high
The poor moon looks at it in the morning with a sigh
Birds are chirping loudly in the greens
Farmers are looking eagerly for the rains
There are hopes and excitement in the young hearts
Rush is about to begin in the shopping marts
I may have not sounded very poetic I know
But that is all I could write what to do!
